They are lovingly sculptured into 196 Maschine instruments for you to use as unlikely sound sources for your music. Sonic highlights include : the ghost of Thomas Carlyle, a very broken double bass, lawns being mown, beards being shaved, celery, snow, a rainy tent in France, ancient gramophone recordings of marmalade heir Alexander Keiller talking about the standing stones of Avebury, huge oil tanks, onions, pigs, fireworks, Stradivaruis saw…I could go on. These aren’t just random field recordings, they have all been meticulously crafted into usable drumkits for a wide variety of rhythmic possibilities.

Nu Deep Construction Lab contains 15, 24bit sonically charged construction loop kits. Each kit contains a full groove plus all the breakout loops that make up the groove so you can use them how they are or mix and match the way you see fit. When you crack open a fresh can of Nu Deep Construction Lab, you won’t find the usual sunny chilled out chord loops or swanky synths. We’ve replaced that with some dark techie grooves, luscious pads, stabbing synths and minor keyed bass lines. Each groove is designed to make you want to move and scratch that itch (you know the one). We like to think its a fusion between the old analog drums from the 90’s but re-edited and re visited to sound more powerful and tasty.
